Question #4893

Living VERY cheaply
Date: Oct 20, 2008 From: Brian
Location: Ontario, Canada   Age: 27
Question: So after reading JJ Luna's "living off the grid" and "how to be invisible", I'm off to living in my car.

A car, not a van! I'll be living in my car stealthy, with tinted windows. I tested how comfortable it is living in my car and found it to be good. I insulated the car and bought some cool sleeping bags.

I currently make my income off the Internet, and now I'm planning to travel across the country and visit friends and do interesting things. (Doable, no problem since it has been 2 years since I got a real 9 to 5 job) Again, this is cool for me who's single, and has no debt.

Also, I would recommend J J Luna's Living Off the Grid. Really good book.

And if you got kids, stay away from J J Luna's book. He'll give your kids some crazy ideas to maintain their privacy and live in their cars like me :)

PS: keep up the good work, hope to see you release new ebooks soon.

Answer: Congratulations on your venture into low-cost living--I've slept in a few cars myself!

BTW, a new eReport about how to find a nominee should be available before the end of this month.
